What if God is bigger, better, brighter?...

This morning on my way to church I passed the house where another group of our community gather to worship and share fellowship among brothers and sisters in faith. It's impossible to see on the outside of this house that there is a mosque inside. As I walk by I rejoice in there being such a place in this community and was instantly thrown into a wrestle with my own thoughts about religion and faith.
Is it alright for a christian believer to rejoice in a mosque? What would people say? Would some agree and some disagree? Is this a sign of doubt in my own believes? Is there a "right" way to believe?
And so this thought enters my head; what if God is better, bigger, brighter?...
I definitely believe that God is one and sent his only son, Jesus, to die on the cross and so save all of mankind. I believe that God speaks to us, his creation, and that he wants us to come closer to him, because its the only way to become more like what we're supposed to be.
I also believe that we are humans, with limitations on many levels. Our judgement and way to perceive things are influenced by our experience, culture, context and thoughts.
So, ...what if God is bigger, brighter and better?...

What if he wants us despite our never ending ability to misinterpret his intentions and communication with us.
What if he can connect to people in different ways?
What if he talks to us and rejoice every time we are better, more loving, more compassionate and brighter although we express it so differently.
What if it is not up to us to judge whats the "right" way to believe?
I can not know, in the scientific way of knowing, that I have the "right" faith, but I can "know" in a non scientific way and I can share what I "know". And I can "know" that God will take pity on me and everyone else who love him and forgive us our inability to be human the way he intended.
And also:
...I do believe that God is brighter, better, bigger....
